About this shade
Semi-sheer fabrics soften daylight and partially obscure outdoor detail. Their decorative weave gives a different effect from solar screen openness.
Light, view and privacy
The outdoor view is softened rather than fully blocked. Privacy varies by fabric, color and lighting; do not rely on semi-sheer fabric for nighttime privacy.
Understanding the fabric
Semi-sheer is a fabric category, not a fixed openness percentage. Solar screen percentages do not define these fabrics.
